OUR HISTORY
Born from a
championship moment
The spark was ignited on 5 May 2025, following the remarkable success of Lighthouse Christian College at the CSEN Soccer Championships — a statewide competition for Christian schools. In the College's first appearance, the junior girls team claimed the championship, and the boys reached the quarter finals.
Inspired by what was possible, teachers Mr. Norng and Mr. Buck began to dream of something bigger — a club that would extend footballing opportunities for their students and open the doors to the wider community.
Supported by Lighthouse Family Christian Church, the club was formally accepted into the Victorian Churches Football League (VCFA) on 26 November 2025. Lighthouse FC fielded its inaugural Under 16s and Under 12s teams in 2026 — the beginning of something that will grow for generations.

Jeremy Fernando
Chairman
Pastor of Lighthouse Family Christian Church. Jeremy provides spiritual leadership and a clear, outward-facing vision — to impact the wider Keysborough community through football.
Sorn Norng
Secretary & Lead Coach
A mathematics teacher and lifelong football coach. Sorn inspired the club's inception after Lighthouse Christian College's success at the 2025 CSEN Soccer Championships.
Mitchell Buck
Treasurer
Sports Coordinator at Lighthouse Christian College. Mitchell oversees the club's finances and operational foundations, ensuring LFC is built to last.
Ethan Tone
Operations
Keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes. Ethan coordinates the day-to-day logistics that allow players and families to show up and focus on football.
Caitlyn Stephens
Marketing & Sponsorships
Caitlyn leads the club's brand presence and community outreach, building the partnerships that help LFC grow and give back to Keysborough.

OUR LEAGUE
Competing in the
Victorian Churches
Football Association
The Victorian Churches Football Association (VCFA) is a faith-based football association uniting churches across Victoria through the world game. They run junior, women's and men's competitions, providing a values-aligned environment where football and community go hand in hand.
Lighthouse FC entered the VCFA in 2026. The competition gives our players a stage to develop their skills against other church-affiliated clubs while staying grounded in the values we share.
